GRCCAC Hits Bullseye With Support of SC Upstate Dart League On Sunday, January 4, 2009, the SC Upstate Dart League, a longtime supporter of GRCCAC's prevent child abuse programs, hosted its annual banquet. Held at the VFW on Old Easley Bridge Road, the event included a delicious meal, award presentation and several dart tournaments. GRCCAC was presented with a check for $1,562.25 to benefit the Prevent Child Abuse programs of GRCCAC. The funds were raised through various tournaments and activities during the 2007 calendar year. Congratulations to the Tungsten Fury who won the City Cup!!
The 1st round saw The TonTeasers (c) take on the Bristle Bombers (B). The Bristle Bombers came out with the win to the next round. Dazed and Confused (B) took on the Rippers (D) and were also victorious. Another Reason to Drink (D) went up against the Tungsten Fury (A) and fell short of winning their way to the next round. The Big Guns (B) drew The Usual Suspects (A) and found themselves heading to the next round.
In the 2nd round the Big Guns (B) took on Dazed and Confused (B) and won to go on to the next round. The Bristle Bombers (B) went up against the Tungsten Fury (A) and fell short of the wins needed to advance to the next level.
In the last round the Big Guns (B) went up against the Tungsten Fury (A). The Tungsten Fury came out to win and did top the Big Guns to take the City Cup. Congratulations on some GREAT matches throughout the day!

ANNOUNCEMENT: 2008-12-05- Lakeside World Professional: 2009 Play-offs - American's Brian Blake, Steve Brown, Chris Linkous, Tim O'Gorman, David Schuyler, Jim Widmayer, Scott Wollaston, Stacy Bromberg, MaryJo Chesney, Sandy Hudson, Christina Medina, Paula Murphy and youth player Dan Lauby Jr. competed in the Lakeside World Professional Championship play-offs. Sandy represented well and made it to the 3rd round. We are lucky to have such a great thrower not only representing the U.S but also Region 4-3 and the SCUDL! Sandy maintains her 10th place standing in the national ADO and 1st in Region 4-3. CONGRATULATIONS to AMY TUCKER and SANDY HUDSON for once again earning the opportunity to represent the SCUDL and Region 4-3 in Las Vegas in January - well done ladies!! Congratulations to Amy Tucker who made it to the final 6 in Austin Texas at the National Playoff (501). She finished 4th overall and finished in the Top 8 of the Women's single Cricket during the $15,000.00 Halloween Open. The SCUDL can be proud we have 2 women (Sandy Hudson and Amy Tucker) who are competing at the National Level. Way to go Ladies!!
